Find these winning houses on our 2022 Synergy Xmas Lights Trail

As 2022 comes to a close, it’s been a special time for our decorators to share the joy of their Christmas lights across WA.
Thank you to everyone who has decorated, visited, voted and supported Ruah Community Services and many other incredible causes as part of our 2022 Synergy Xmas Lights Trail.

We’re thrilled to announce the winning decorators of this year’s Synergy Xmas Lights Trail Decorators Competition.

Ready, set, glow! Here are your Decorator's Competition People’s Choice Award – Best Lights Display winners…
Cindy and Gabriel Trejo in Brabham have won the People Choice Award – Best Lights Display category in this year's Synergy Xmas Lights Trail Decorator Competition!

Here are some festive facts about their spectacular display:

Their home is known as ‘the Christmas House’ in their area, and features over 500 lights and inflatables, bubble/smoke/snow machine, lasers and projections, Christmas statues, and even a big Santa chair and large Christmas sleigh!

Overall, it took them over a month to plan and set up.

With hundreds of competitors again this year, Cindy and Gabriel’s display received more than 900 votes to take out the top prize.
Cindy and Gabriel said they decorated their home for the kids’ enjoyment and to raise money for a good cause, to fundraise for the mental health charity Beyond Blue.

“Over the past few years, we have been asked by our suburb who we are raising money for - normally we were just doing it for all the beautiful smiles we get! In 2021 we asked for food donations for a local charity and this year we have set up a fundraiser with Beyond Blue,” they said.
“We love putting up our Christmas lights to see the joy kids and adults get from them!”

We’d like to wish everybody a safe and happy festive season. The 2022 Synergy Xmas Lights Trail will keep shining online until 1 January 2023, so there’s plenty of time to enjoy the lights over the Christmas period (although please remember that some decorators might choose to pack away their lights before then).
