Announcing… the 2020 Synergy Xmas Lights Trail winners!
Find these winning houses on our 2020 Synergy Xmas Lights Trail
As such a challenging year comes to a close, it’s been an extra special time for our decorators to share the joy of their Christmas lights across WA.
Thank you to everybody who has decorated, voted and supported Lifeline WA and many other incredible causes as part of our 2020 Synergy Xmas Lights Trail.
We’re thrilled to announce the winning decorators of this year’s competition.
Snow wonder they’re the People’s Choice winners…
Meagan and Craig Rawlings in High Wycombe have won the People’s Choice Award. Here are some festive facts about the Rawlings’ decorations:
- Their display features thousands of lights, a walk-through tunnel, a snow machine, a smoke machine, laser lights, music and plenty of inflatables – and took around 50 hours to set up.
- With hundreds of competitors this year, the Rawlings’ display received more than 600 votes to take out the top prize.
- Meagan said they decorate their home for the kids’ enjoyment and to raise money for a good cause, having raised a total of more than $10,000 for Perth Children’s Hospital Foundation over four years.
“We decorate to put a smile on kids’ faces and it means so much to us to be voted the best – it’s such a reward for all the efforts we put into putting the lights up and all the long nights in December,” she said.
